Mt Gemi

Mount Gemi, also located in the Volta Region, rises elegantly at Amedzofe and is known for its towering iron cross at the summit—built by German missionaries. Though not as high as Afadjato, its tranquil environment, misty skies, and spectacular sunrises make it a spiritual retreat for hikers and photographers alike.

Mt Afadja

Standing at 885 meters, Mountain Afadja is Ghana’s highest peak, located in the Volta Region near the border with Togo. It offers a moderate hiking challenge and a breathtaking panoramic view of the lush surrounding hills, villages, and the distant valleys. This mountain is a symbol of pride and resilience, and a must-visit for nature lovers and adventurers.

Ote Falls

Hidden in the Amedzofe highlands, Ote Falls is a serene waterfall cascading over rocks into a shallow, refreshing pool. Surrounded by dense forest, this quiet gem is perfect for those seeking peace, natural beauty, and a dip in cool waters after a long hike.
